Make Brushing Interactive: Don't Just Brush, Playbrush!
Getting children to brush their teeth properly for a 2 whole minutes can often be a struggle, why not make it a breeze? You may have seen it on Dragons' Den, or you may have seen at BDIA Dental Showcase 2018, if you haven't seen it by now, we're talking about the children's interactive toothbrush system, Playbrush!
Playbrush is a smart toothbrush system that allows children to play games whilst brushing, and their toothbrushes controls the game. In other words, Playbrush translates every tooth brushing movement into gameplay, so children actively control the games as they brush. During each 2-minute adventure, the gaming apps encourage children to brush at the correct speed and equally within all quadrants of the mouth.
Playbrush games downloaded from the app store provide audible and visual feedback to improve brushing technique. Connect the toothbrush via a bluetooth connection to your smartphone or tablet in game, unlock rewards and see statistics. Playbrush is able to measure position, duration and regularity. Using the games and brushing coach feature brushing technique, duration and regularity can be improved.
Playbrush Smart
Playbrush Smart is a device that can be attached to any toothbrush, making a regular old toothbrush an interactive one! To activate simply line the upper arrow with the front of the toothbrush, and align the lower two arrows so they are pointing to each other. Once this has been done you can open up the Playbrush app on your smart device and you're all set!
