Indications

The VacuSoft universal aspirator tip is used for large volume suction of aerosols, liquids and solids during dental treatment. The wide and flat tip makes the VacuSoft universal aspirator tip also an excellent device for keeping the patient‘ s cheek and tongue away and ensuring a clear view of the treatment field.

Product Details

VacuSoft consists of 2 components:

1. VacuSoft Base - the cannula body is a durable cannula tube with matt surface. VacuSoft Base is reusable and can be reprocessed.
2. VacuSoft Tip - is the cannula tip for attachment to the VacuSoft Base. VacuSoft Tips are single use and can not be reprocessed.

VacuSoft Tips are made of medical grade, soft TPE plastic and are particularly gentle in contact with the patient's oral mucosa, tongue and cheeks. They are available in various degrees of hardness, from extra soft to solid. This means that various clinical requirements and personal preferences of the user can be met during aspiration.

The following three versions of colour coded tips are available:

• Sensitive Comfort - Very soft tip for gentle aspiration in particularly pressure sensitive patients.
• Comfort - Soft tip for gentle aspiration in uncomplicated treatment cases.
• Solid - Stable tip for treatment situations where more resistance is needed for retraction.

The funnel-shaped geometry of the tips optimizes the flow, thus reducing the noise level and preventing gravity-induced backflow of the aspirated media - so-called reflux - into the patient‘s mouth.
