R&S Spiral burs are FG diamond burs with a precision left spinning spiral groove along the diamond coated area.
Spiral burs offer many advantages to both the dentist and patient during tooth preparation:
- A left spinning spiral groove delivers constantly cooling fluid to the point of contact between bur and tooth as well as to the entire diamond coated area.
- Undesired heat generated during a preparation procedure is reduced through the spiral delivering additional irrigation and cooling efficiency.
- Preparation procedure is faster and more efficient.
- During preparation the spiral groove also serves as an evacuation channel for tooth debris.
