Peroxyl Mouthwash from Colgate is an oral mouthwash with a unique oxygenating cleaning action.

The rapid release of oxygen helps remove debris and has an antibacterial effect on anaerobic bacteria.

Peroxyl Mouthwash contains 1.5% hydrogen peroxide, 0% alcohol and is mint flavoured.

Peroxyl Mouthwash facilitates healing and alleviates discomfort caused by minor mouth and gum irritations, such as mouth ulcers, gum inflammation and trauma from orthodontic braces.

Peroxyl Mouthwash Properties

• Relieves minor mouth and gum irritations: cheek bites, soreness, burns, gum inflammation, dental treatments.
• Soothes soreness caused by dentures and orthodontic appliances.
• Oxygenating action cleans oral debris facilitating healing and alleviating discomfort.

How Should Peroxyl Mouthwash Be Used?

• Peroxyl Mouthwash is ready to use.
• Adults and children over 12 years should rinse with 10ml (half a capful) of Peroxyl for 60 seconds, and then spit out.
• Peroxyl Mouthwash should be used 3 times daily (after meals and at bedtime) or as directed by a doctor or dentist.
• Children between the ages of 6-12 years old should be supervised by an adult when using Peroxyl.
• The duration of the treatment should not exceed 7 days.

Peroxyl Mouthwash Ingredients

Every 100ml of solution contains 1.5g of Hydrogen peroxide (as 35% Hydrogen Peroxide solution).

• Sorbitol 70% w/w (Non-Crystallising)
• Purified Water
• Propylene glycol
• Poloxamer 338
• Polysorbate 20
• Methyl salicylate
• Levo-Menthol
• Sodium saccharin
