Illuminé™ Tooth Whitening Gel from Dentsply Sirona is a tray-based carbamide peroxide tooth whitening system.

It has been designed for patients to have the first treatment applied by a dental practitioner and thereafter apply in the comfort of their own home, over the course of approximately two weeks.

A 6-9 shade change is possible using Illuminé™, offering your patients predictability and performance. In addition, the product is supplied in an attractive, consumer-friendly washbag with simple, step-by-step application instructions which give a pictorial guide of the treatment procedure.

The modern bleaching technology of Illuminé tooth whitening gel is based on a natural mode of action. Coloured pigments in your teeth are neutralized, with water and oxygen as by-products. What is the effect? The whiteness of your teeth is restored.

lluminé is supplied at two concentrations of carbamide peroxide (CP); 10% CP and 15% CP with fluoride.

These two concentrations are roughly equivalent to 3.6% and 5.4% hydogen perocide (HP), respectively.

Illuminé is very patient friendly. The pre-mixed gel is applied into specially made trays, which are worn for two hours, or overnight, for a period of two weeks (or as directed).
