Coated Vicryl Sutures from Ethicon are a smooth, synthetic, absorbable suture that passes through tissue readily with minimal drag, and facilitates ease of handling, smooth tie down, and unsurpassed knot security.
Coated Vicryl Sutures are composed of a copolymer made from 90% glycolide and 10% L-lactide.
Coated Vicryl Sutures are indicated for use in general soft tissue approximation and/or ligation, including use in ophthalmic procedures, but not for use in cardiovascular and neurological tissues.
