The Winged and Ported IV Catheter from Terumo is an intravenous catheter made from medical grade, soft polyurethane, offering optimum patient comfort. 

Each Terumo Winged and Ported IV Catheter is made from medical grade polyurethane that becomes very soft at body temperature so it is comfortable when in use for patients. Each Terumo Winged and Ported IV Catheter has a perfectly tapered catheter tip, which allows the catheter to safely and easily enter the vein without causing any venous trauma. The optimum bevel to catheter tip distance reduces the risk of passing through the vein, reducing risk and ensuring patient comfort. 

The winged catheter hub offers easy fixation of the catheter. 

The injection port in the Terumo Winged and Ported IV Catheter allows the intermittent injection of medicines during infusion, and due to its central position, there are less risks of damaging the vein.
