Distance is the difference:

Many lights deliver less than 35% of their stated energy output to the floor of a deep proximal box. But not SmartLite® Focus®. It channels energy into a beam of light that goes down to 8mm deep – the clinically relevant distance light must travel for a reliable, solid cure on a Class II restoration. Do you know how far your light goes? A more collimated beam provides:

• Greater energy available at depth
• Lower risk of uncured resin at gingival margin
• Reduced pathways for secondary caries to form

Uniform Curing Performance

Predictively uniform:

During a curing cycle, each light operator delivers a different amount of energy to the restoration, which means some restorations are more fully cured than others. To promote consistent performance among curing light operators, the SmartLite® Focus® Light offers an intuitive single mode design. Additionaly, its homogeneous beam profile makes it less sensitive to movement during the curing cycle and provides consistent curing performance across the restorative surface. The result is uniform curing performance within the curing area.

Designed to stay on top:

With a lightweight (90g), 330° head rotation and pen-style design you’ll experience excellent intra-oral control that’ll help you maintain a steady hand at the proper angle. Keeping the light tip stable and flat to the restorative surface is critical. It helps ensure sufficient light reaches the corners of the proximal box, which is especially difficult when space and access are limited in the back of the mouth.

Smarter than the average light:

Always be ready to cure with a light that knows when and how much charging is needed. Using Smart Recharge Technology, it automatically adjusts charging modes based on battery conditions.
