Expasyl Original Capsule Refill (20)
Expasyl is a temporary gingival retraction paste which pushes back the marginal gingivae and dries the gingival crevice.
Characteristics
- Protects the periodontium: Expasyl’s consistency was specially researched so as not to harm a healthy periodontium, thus avoiding gingival recession or bone-resorption.
- Optimum ergonomics and considerable time is saved: sulcular opening is achieved by placing Expasyl in the gingival crevice in one step. After one or two minutes, Expasyl, which is easily detected by its colour, is simply eliminated by spraying air and water, leaving the gingival crevice dry and wide open.
- The method is painless when Expasyl is used on a healthy periodontium.
- Expasyl has compressive surface astringent and haemostatic qualities: no bleeding or saliva, which allows for a perfectly dry gingival crevice.
- Average duration of sulcular opening: 1-2 minutes, according to operating conditions.
