The great majority of all direct composite restorations are created in the posterior region. It is important that the material offers favourable wear properties, a good optical integration and low shrinkage stress. The restoration needs to blend in with the adjacent tissue and to mask the potentially stained underlying tooth structure. Clearfil Majesty ES-2 Universal does the job with only one shade independent of the tooth colour.
