For those of you who regularly read our blog, you'll be aware that last Thursday we held our second whitening evening; sponsored by SDI, Braemar and hosted by DecaDent. For those of you who don't know about the events we have been putting on, we have been holding verifiable CPD presentations informing dentists, dental nurses and oral hygienists on the procedures and regulations of tooth whitening.
The presentation was given by Diane Rochford RDH, a highly skilled dental hygienist with 20 years experience, and included everything you need to know about the treatment and how to advise patients post treatment. The evening was held in Bristol at DecaDent, a dental equipment supplier. DecaDent provides the leading edge in dental surgery equipment and service. Their office based in Wick, Bristol is a beautiful, modern converted cow shed, the location could not of been anymore comforting for our guests. Locally sourced fresh food and a glass of bubbly was provided to keep our guests festively full.
The event was sponsored by SDI, who kindly gave out Pola kits as a freebie for all of our guests. SDI's Pola brand is an extensive range of whitening products from in-practice whitening kits (Pola Office) to soothing gel (Soothe) to reduce sensitivity during treatment. Pola Office+ is know to be one of the quickest whitening products on the market, taking only 25 minutes to apply, rather than the average whitening product which takes an hour.
Also sponsoring the event were Braemar Finance, a dental finance company who provide loan and product finance agreements on products such as X-Ray Machines and imaging units. Without everyone's great input we would not of been able to throw such a successful event. We are planning to work our way around the country and will be organising our next one in the new year.
