Although American Eagle Instruments® opened in 1992, their history began in 1948 with the start of American Dental Manufacturing, a family-founded dental hand instrument company that made its mark by providing high quality, durable instruments to the dental profession. Today, American Eagle Instruments has evolved to become one of the largest manufacturers of dental hand instruments in North America and is part of the Young Innovations family of brands. American Eagle composite instruments are coated with the XP Technology nano-optimised, super-hard, scratch resistant surface which reliably stops composite from sticking to the instrument.

EagleLite handles from American Eagle Instruments are 3/8" / 9.5mm ergonomic lightweight handles that offer comfort, control and tactile sensitivity. They reduce hand fatigue and help counteract carpal tunnel syndrome.

Stainless Steel and Plastic Resin handles can both be sterilised in the usual manner.

The End of Sharpening, Thanks to the Revolutionary American Eagle XP Technology

XP Technology is a patented technique for surface treatment. By using nano-optimised technology, the instruments become significantly more durable. The process also makes it possible to produce thinner instrument tips with sharper blades. Time consuming sharpening of instruments is thereby eliminated.
